Hilchot Brachot Shiur Begins

Hilchot Brachot Shiur will begin on Sunday September 12 (Tzom Gedalia).

Shiur takes place at 9:00 PM Israel time, generally 2 PM eastern and 11 AM Pacific.

Note that Israel time is the definitive time, therefore during the transition to daylight savings time, those in America will need to adjust 1 hour.

The first shiur will discuss The Torah and Rabbinic Basis for Brachot

There are 2 ways to participate in the Shiur:

Use only your computer:

Go to https://www1.gotomeeting.com/join/346982776

Use your microphone and speakers for audio.

Or use your computer for visuals, and call in using your telephone:
Dial 630-869-1016
Access Code: 346-982-776
Audio PIN: Shown after joining the meeting on your computer
Meeting ID: 346-982-776

Please come about 5 minutes early the first week to be sure you get online in time for the shiur to begin.

Using Facebook

This year, each shiur will be posted as a Facebook event, and you will be invited to it. Although you don't need to RSVP or "like" each shiur in order to attend, doing so helps to publicize the event on facebook and let your friends know about it.

Please also use Facebook for questions and comments about the mekorot and the shiurim, and as a way to find a chavrusa if you don't already have one.

Links to written summaries and audio recordings will also be posted to the facebook group

Daf Mekorot

Dapei Mekorot will be emailed, posted to the facebook group, and posted to the Orach Mishor website, about 1 week before the shiur.

Do your best to prepare this material in advance of the shiur. You can use facebook as a resource to discuss the mekorot with other students, or email or skype me.
